Our Volcano Experiment

Here are some of our pupils with a model volcano. We put some baking soda, vinegar and red
food colouring in the crater. This made a chemical reaction occur. The mock lava fizzed up and flowed down the mountainside. You can also see a cross section of a volcano, which we made out of paper.

Tudor Posters

We were set a challenge to research an aspect of Tudor life. Here we are with our posters on Tudor Theatre, Explorers, Costumes and Homes.

Spanish Armada Game

For term one we have been studying Tudors and Stuarts. We have been learning about Elizabeth I. England and Spain were fighting because the Spaniards wanted the English to be Catholic. They sent out battleships known as the Armada. The English won. We made a game from instructions based on the Armada. In the pictures we are playing the game.
