Drama Visit

The drama specialist, Mr Giles, is visiting our class on Thursdays for three weeks to do role play with the class. We have already participated in the role play of a pupil with an angry teacher, which was great fun. Here we are discussing a picture of a man in a dark street. Mr Giles takes on the role of the man in the picture and we are encouraged to write down questions to ask him.

Our Human Body Topic

In our study of the Human Body we have been looking at the respiratory (breathing) and circulatory (blood ) systems. Here are photographs of our class taking the pulse rates of the Glaitness P1 class. We also asked our penpals in Linlithgow to take their pulses during a video conference. They are P6/7s. Finally we took the pulse rates of 12 adults in the school. We drew graphs based on our results. The conclusion was that young children have a much higher pulse rate than adults. This is because they are still growing and require more energy.
