As part of our study of Buddhism we looked at the festival known as Wesak. This is a spring festival which celbrates Buddha's birth, enlightenment and passing away..We made the garland above in only 20 minutes.
We had a visit from one of the school nurses, who gave us a lot of information on healthy eating. Here we are using plastic representations of food and putting them into different food categories.
