Tour Guiding Costumes

Here are most of our pupils in costume, ready to give our first tour of the Earl's and Bishop's Palaces in Kirkwall. The costumes and scripts were provided by Historic Scotland. We all have to act as characters who lived in the past.

  1. What a great experience this is for the guides and the visitors! We would like to have a class visit to tell us about the Bishops palace which links to Norse rule in Orkney and our Viking investigation.

We think the guides will be fully booked!

What beautiful costumes! Good luck on your first
    tour.
